I have to be honest. I try to stay far away from political discussions—both on my blog and with people in general. Call me a wimp, but it’s more about my inability to debate things, really.
Well—lack of desire to might be more truthful.
So on my personal blog this week, I did trivia related to Presidents’ Day
Today, I’m going to share my favorite movie that has a president as the main character:
First of all, Harrison Ford rocks. Then you throw in Gary Oldman as the bad guy and non-stop action—This was my kind of movie.
Here’s a fun bit of trivia:
Harrison Ford told Gary Oldman to actually hit him during the filming of the fight scenes.
Now that’s dedication isn’t it? LOL. I hope you had a great week and here’s looking to a fun, relaxing weekend.
Sincerely,
Your Friday Fox, Lynn Rush
Le sigh…I do love Harrison Ford and Gary Oldman. *dreamy sigh* Great post, Lynn!

That was a great movie. And lots of terrific twists and turns.
[[[ SPOILER ALERT ]]]
One of the big twists didn’t fool me, however. I KNEW Ford didn’t leave on that escape module. I’m sure some people WOULD have bailed out, but a guy like him wouldn’t leave his wife and child in such a perilous situation.
Wonderful acting and superb fight scenes. Great special effects.
Yeah, Lynn, this is a ‘turbo’ movie about Presidents.
Another one I liked had Jack Lemmon and James Garner as ex-presidents in a pickle. Don’t recall the title, though.

Best. line. ever. was “Get off my plane” Loved it- so awesome. Remind me sometime to tell you about the time my cousin met Harrison! He’s very humble in real life.
