Back to School

We’re talking school stuff again this week, and I was one of those who didn’t like the whole school thing.

And it didn’t like me. Especially Geometry.

That evil, frustrating, useless class earned me my first “F” on a report card.

Really. I’m not stupid, just…high school…well, we didn’t get along.

Kind of like Billy Madison. Maybe I should go back and see if I can pass Geometry…NOT!

Thankfully some unsuspecting college let me in its doors. I found my motivation and graduated with honors. Even got a decent grade in the math requirements. **LOL**

I’ve seen a couple of movies with people “going back to school” many years later.
Even though I pretty much enjoyed my 11th & 12th grades, I would NEVER want to go back.
I did return to college (after 2 wasted years, I went in to the Air Force and came out a lot more mature) on the G.I. Bill and made my final years really count in grades AND learning.
    Then grad school.
But after that … I don’t want to go near a classroom.

  2. UGH!! Geometry kicked my butt, too. All the rest was easy but for some reason, the shapes and radii got my poor brain befuddled!
