Sugar Highs & Scary Movies….

Hey, everyone. Are you coming down from the candy corn induced sugar highs from Halloween yet?

I spent the day at airports, traveling home from Iowa. But what cracked me up were the flight attendants wearing costumes.

It was totally cool. I didn’t have my wits about me to take any pictures, but it ranged from demons, witches to football players.

It made the weary day of traveling a little more entertaining, anyway.

I’m seeing posts on Twitter and Facebook about how people are hearing Christmas music already.

Oh.

My.

Gosh.

Does it seem to be coming earlier and earlier every year?

But back to Halloween. What’d you all do? Any fun parties?

I must admit, we did manage to sneak in a little Halloween Action during our travels:

Hope you had a super week!

I watched football and hid from trick or treaters. The game wasn’t that great though, so I probably should have just gone to bed early, LOL

Good trailer. I haven’t seen that film in a LOOONNNGGG time. But I have it on VHS — so you get an idea of how long I’ve owned a copy.
My wife bought me a container of candy corn, but — surprisingly — I haven’t opened it yet. The kids will be here for the next four nites, so I’m sure we’ll get into it.

We hung around home, but were pleased to have more trick or treaters than normal. I love when neighborhoods start to re-invigorate themselves, with new families moving in. 🙂 Your comment about flight attendants wearing costumes made me smile. Traveling is such a hassle, so anything that lightens that load is good. We were listening to the in flight announcement once and the attendant introduced the Captain and co-pilot and Captain James T. Kirk and Commander Spock. I LOVED it. 🙂

I’m late chiming in, but I will admit that most of the “good” Halloween candy has now disappeared. Some of it was eaten. Some went with my husband to his work. But I totally hear you on that Christmas thing. Poor Thanksgiving. It must feel like the red-headed stepchild holiday. No respect. I have a rule that no Christmas decorations go up before Thanksgiving, but that’s not saying much when our household is a known slacker when it comes to holiday decor. We’re usually one of the last ones to get our lights up. But still. I have a rule about it. Anyhow, while I’m not big on all the Christmas decorations being out in the stores now, I admit I’m jazzed that the peppermint-flavored goodies are now available. YUM!
