Gosh. Can you believe it’s the second day of December already? **shakes head**
Thanksgiving has come and gone and I’m going through withdrawal. It was a tough holiday since it was the first one without my sweet mother-in-law (she died of cancer 10/24/11) but we had my father-in-law out here to Arizona.
And that’s what I’m having withdrawal over. HIM! He’s such a sweet, caring, loving person, I totally miss him. We just hung out at home together all day long on BLACK FRIDAY since I’m not a shopper and neither is he.
It was great fun and I’m in total withdrawal from his sweet sense of humor and infectious smile. But now it’s onto Christmas.
Got all your shopping done? Did you brave BLACK FRIDAY? How ’bout Cyber Monday? Score any big deals?

wonderful that you had that close time with your F-I-L.
No doubt, he really needed that, after losing his wife just a month previously.

It sounds like you created a bittersweet, but memorable Thanksgiving memory this year. Which is good because it will help with the pain of losing your loved one. I hope Christmas becomes more happy memories for all of you.
As for shopping, I haven’t even started. Yikes!

I’m glad your dad-in-law seems to be doing all right after the huge loss of his wife. I’m glad he got to come visit you. I loved the pictures on your blog with him.
