The Ultimate Book List 1

                                        … for Your Christmas gifts
                                                       Part 1 of 3
By Jeff Salter [courtesy of Jillian Chantal]

Ever tried to carry too many items and they’re about to spill over and wreck whatever you were doing?
Well, that’s the position I was in this week after the surprisingly wonderful response to my invitation last week:  I had 70-plus citations in my hands and they were just about to spill onto the ‘ground’ (somewhere out in cyberspace.)
But Founding Fox Jillian Chantal came to my rescue!  She graciously donated her Tuesday space to post a goodly portion of what I’d collected.
And, sometimes you find you need TWO friends to help you out … so the Friday Fox  Lynn Rush also ‘rushed’ to my aid.  [More on that later this week].
Without further ado, here’s what all this is about:
Everybody loves books!
Every writer loves books (whether paper or electronic) and everybody needs to buy some gifts this season.  Also, every writer knows READERS … and readers love receiving books as gifts.  Ah … then you’ve come to the right place.
This week, Four Foxes One Hound features titles you’ll definitely want to consider.  Micki Gibson got us off to a great beginning in her post Monday (12th).  Be sure to visit every day this week so you can see the entire listing!

A very thorough and diverse list. Well done!

    • jeff7salter says:

Thanks, Jack. We shouldda had your “Dragon Rising” series on here.
Check back every day this week for Parts 2 & 3 of my list … and the surprises our Cajun Fox has in store for tomorrow.

  2. Great list!! I especially like seeing two of our members of RWA from Houston on your list. J.D. Faver and Tess St. John are both wonderful writers and I think everyone would enjoy their books!!

    • jeff7salter says:

Thanks, Stacey. I was hoping we’d add some endorsements as the day proceeds. Wonderful.
Hope everybody returns each day this week for the rest.

Yeah! Many recognizable names! And as Stacey pointed out, two of our Northwest Houston RWA chapter mates, JD Faver and Tess St John, are on your list. Gotta give them a shout out! *waving*

  4. Thank you, Jeff! I recognize (and own) a few of these cyber-titles, and feel certain the others are as good just by association. With YA for the g-kids and some non-fiction to add to my personal/research library (*Pokes laptop under hubby’s nose and points to titles*), you’re off to a perfect start!

I’ll certainly be looking for the rest of your offerings! Sure I’ll find a few more items perfect for particular recipients!

    • jeff7salter says:

      Runere, you’re a champ.
And the way the citations were sorted by the esteemed automated random pick-o-meter at Vandelay Industries … your titles should appear on Thursday’s portion of the list.

  5. Thanks for the list, Jeff.
I see some of my fellow Chick Lit Writers of the World up there too.

    • jeff7salter says:
