The Ultimate Book List 3

                                    … for Your Christmas gifts
                                                  Part 3 of 3
By Jeff Salter [courtesy of Lynn Rush]

Ever ended up with more stuff than you anticipated … and it’s about to spill over into an unmanageable mess?
Well, that’s the position I was in this week after the surprisingly wonderful response to my invitation last week:  I had 70-plus citations in my hands and I knew they wouldn’t all fit into my Thursday column.
But, fortunately, two friends have helped me out.  One is the Friday Fox, Lynn Rush, who ‘rushed’ to my aid.  [Lynn regularly runs and bikes phenomenal distances, so her name is very descriptive].  She’s also giving her hand a chance to recover from a recent procedure.
Without further ado, here’s what all this is about:

Everybody loves books!
This week, Four Foxes One Hound features titles you’ll definitely want to consider as Christmas gifts (because MOST of the people you know, love books).
Micki Gibson got us off to a great beginning in her post of YA titles on Monday (12th).  Founding Fox Jillian Chantal graciously donated her Tuesday space to post Part 1 of what I’d collected.  Danica Avet revealed her own spicy list on Wednesday, and I posted Part 2 of my list yesterday.  Be sure to go back and visit every blog this week so you can see the entire listing!

      Thanks, Susan.
And it’s great to have two of yours on today’s portion.
I want to hear more about that true story which inspired your novella.

Watch out, Jeff. Not every Santa comes bearing gifts. In 1927 a man dressed as Santa robbed the local bank, killed several people, and took hostages. In my version, young Wilber Jenkins escapes after three days on the run. Now in his nineties, he must learn to forgive and overcome his hatred for all things Christmas, for the sake of his family. Think Bonnie and Clyde meet Huck Finn or maybe The Ransom of Red Chief.
