I is for Interview

I’ve got a new book coming out on Sunday, April 15, 2012 called The Gambler. It’s a historical set in 1937. The heroine has psychic abilities and part of her character’s journey is to the acceptance of this gift that makes her different from the other members of her family. The majority of the story takes place on the RMS Queen Mary ocean liner. So, you may be asking, what the heck does this all have to do with the letter “I”? Well, I’m getting to that.

I’ve been interviewed by Kala Ambrose for her radio show called Explore Your Spirit with Kala. It’s a show that explores all kinds of metaphysical and paranormal topics as well as new discoveries in the scientific and spiritual arenas (description taken from her website). Anyhow, my interview, wherein I talk about this book as well as my experiences on the Queen Mary will air on April 24 at 8 p.m. Eastern time.

Check out some of the other interviews from her show here: http://www.exploreyourspirit.com/radio/

    The book premise sounds terrific.
Congrats on the interview. Is that the one you were fretting about last week? Or a new one?

    • Yep, Jeff, it was the one I was fretting about. AND I think I sounded like an idiot, but oh well.

I did several short TV ‘interviews’ back in the 1980s & 1990s re: the Shreveport Library system. They always ignored anything I said which seemed (to me) insightful or well-phrased .. and seemed invariably to select the clips which either sounded stoopid or looked weird (or both).

        • LOL! I used to do a talk show here and it was live so there was no cutting and pasting. LOL! BUT it was legal stuff and I am super comfortable yakking away about law. Not so much my writing.
