Since this week is our “free” week, I’m going to take a moment for shameless self-promotion. I know, I know, it’s so…shameless!

Yesterday I got the cover for my newest release, You Bet Your Banshee, which is coming out June 6th. Yup, that’s next Wednesday! It was originally scheduled to come out June 14, but I guess my edits were so awesome, they bumped me up a whole week. Yay.

Here’s a little about the first book in my Three Kingdoms trilogy:

What’s a banshee to do when she’s sentenced to death because of her inability to cry?

Move to Earth and become a stripper, of course. For ten years, Magda O’Quinn has lived on Earth, supporting herself with her butt-shaking skills and hiding from the banshee queen who wants her death, before she discovers people are hunting her who won’t stop until she’s back in Fairworld.

The first to find her is hunky halfling, Ryvan Keller, an agent of the fairy queen. The attraction Magda feels for him is panty-wetting to be sure, but there’s no way she’ll give in to her attraction and meekly follow him back into the hell of Fairworld. She’ll have to battle extreme lust for a sexy halfling, fall in love, and defeat an evil queen before she can get back to the business of having a life again.

Yup, it’s an erotic paranormal romance, but then I think I’m the bad girl of the Four Foxes, One Hound blog. *peeks at the others* Hopefully I’m not too bad though.

Have a great Hump Day, folks!

About danicaavet

Danica Avet lives and writes in the wilds of South Louisiana. Unmarried with no children, she's the proud pet of two cats and a dog. With a BA in History, she decided there were enough fry cooks in the world and tried her hand at writing. Danica loves losing herself in the antics of her characters and blushes more often than not at the things they do. She likes to define her work as paranormal romance with a touch of Cajun spice, but most times her characters turn the notch up to "five-alarm fire"!

Goodness, Danica…I don’t know about reading that one…When Darby O’Gill and the Little People was going to have a special run in Washington, DC, I was about 5, living in the suburbs. When they showed the Banshee,I got the willies scared out of me.Actually, the ensuing problems is a funny story now,(which I shall have to get out there some time), but…I dunno, Danica!
Good luck with the book,(with those who don’t carry so much baggage!)

So, you’re the bad girl of the Four Foxes?
Well, it certainly seems you’ve spiced-up Cajun Country!
Good luck on your sales with this new release beginning next week.

Ah-ha! Now I know where to look when I need my “bad girl” fix. You had me at the first two lines of your blurb. And it’s really hard for me to type my comment without hearing Donna Summer’s “Bad Girls”. (RIP, Donna). Looks like I can have my “bad girl” fix next Wednesday!

  4. Great cover and another awesome sounding tale!!!
