It’s A Woot Kind of Day

It’s serendipitous that this is a free week. Why? Because it’s my day to blog and it’s also the release day for my latest book, Primal Design. Tada!

I feel like I should say something else. Um. Well, of course I’m very excited about the release. Petrified and happy all at once. It’s a writer thing. I want everyone to love the book, but I also know you can’t make everyone happy. That’s the realist in me coming out. I hate her sometimes. She never lets me just enjoy the moment. She’s also the person who tells me “You can’t do that in this book” or “Seriously? You’re not going to just leave that there, are you? It sucks! Your readers will hate you.”

She’s such a party-pooper. However, she can’t really bring me down today. Because today is Release Day. I’m all over the place on the interwebs. I’m holding a giveaway on my blog, I’m over at another blog and I have some lovely friends who are blasting the release day announcement on their blogs. Mass marketing? Sort of. Okay, not really.

Anyway, it’s a woot kind of day and I’m wooting it up. Woot! Woot! Happy Release Day, Kitty and Monk!
