This week’s topic is our favorite toys as a grown-up. On our chart, it says, “adult” toys and Micki and I had a giggle over that, but that’s all I’m going to say here.
Mine isn’t really a toy but I’m on my second car that’s a convertible. I still have the first one as well. I love to drive with the top down. I hate driving most of the time. It’s a chore and road rage and I are very good friends since there are a lot of idiot drivers out there. So, when I can go topless, it makes it a little less of a chore and more fun- if driving can be fun at all.
Now you are just taunting us…first the ‘adult toy’ thing and now you say you’re going “topless”!
I don’t blame you , though…I miss my little ‘rag-top’! Have fun…I hope you blast the radio like I did and make heads turn!

An “adult” toy you can do “topless”… Now you’ve made me giggle.
We own a convertible, too. I told my husband he was going through a mid-life crisis and needed it. Overall, he’s glad he bought it. It’s his favorite car (my favorite to ride in, too!). Wish we could enjoy the top down all year, though. It’s a tad bit on the chilly side in Ohio right now.

I’ve actually owned a convertible, but wait til you hear what it was: 1957 Nash Metropolitan. Yep. Two seater with a teeny bit of cargo space behind the seats. Pretty good-sized trunk, however, which was accessed in that year’s model by pulling down the back of the pretend bench ‘seat’ behind the real front seats.
No top on it when I acquired it, but I bought one and installed it myself. All the snaps fit except one.

It’s really not worth having a convertible here in my neck of the woods, but it sure sounds fun. Enjoy! 🙂
