I’ve been biding my time and biting my tongue during this month to tell you all about my NEWS!

In early September, just after the issue of my first release, FATED (The 1st in my Trilogy, CONNECTIONS), I received a PRESS RELEASE from my publisher, Books To Go Now! The Press Release said, “Debut Romance Author Janette Harjo Tops Amazon Charts!
Books To Go Now’s proud to announce author Janette Harjo’s new release, Fated, is currently #10 on Amazon’s bestsellers list!”

I am SURE glad my publisher keeps watch on things like that!

A following quote said,”Connections is an epic love story. Definitely a must read that will pull at your heartstrings.” – Serena Zane”

THEN, I got my first box of books from them! YAY!

And now, for a different topic which is just as Exciting for Me! I went to visit my momma last week, who is in a nursing home far away in Louisiana. (I live in Washington State) And it was decided that I am going to be given her POA and she will be transported up here to live near ME!

I’ve just been bouncing around and forgetting everything else (except business, like this blog’s deadline) bc am so Excited about all that is going on in my life right now!

Janette who is glad she has a strong heart :))

Just a word to let you all know I DID meet my deadline with this post. It’s scheduled to post at 12:01 this morning, but it did not show up until I checked for it, did not see it here, and told it to PUBLISH ALREADY! 🙂

  2. First of all, you go ahead and toot that horn of yours,Gal!Congratulations and continued success!
And your mother going to live near you?! That is exciting.I know it must take a load off your mind, with you having been so far away.
Crack open the Bollinger,(sorry, must be a James Bond left-over!),some sparkling grape juice, or something in between. Salute’!

Thanks, Tonette! I’ve gotten very accomplished at “tooting” my own horn, IOW, shameless self-promotion. 😉 I’ll be opening a bottle of bubbly soon, thanks for the idea! Life is so good here! I have worked for both my momma and publication for SO LONG! 🙂

I’m so happy to hear your mother will be close to you. I’m sure that you will find it very nice, having her close by. And I’ve got my copy of Fated, just waiting for that autograph. 🙂

Thanks for the purchase, Laurie. I’m excited to autograph it for you! I’ll do that tomorrow at the Reader’s meeting, huh? I found the perfect place for her today. It’s just down the road! I can visit her there every day and even share meals with her! Happy, Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy, Joy! Snoopy dancing here!

Fantastic news, Janette. Wonderful that your book is doing so well already.
Glad you’ll have your mom nearby so you can care for her more easily.

  6. pjharjo says:

Thanks, Jeff! it will be wonderful to have momma nearby where I can keep an eye on her! I’ve been having trouble sleeping lately. 🙂

    • jeff7salter says:

My mom lives in her own cottage, about 400 ft away. If the weather’s okay, I can walk it in 5 mins. Nice not to have to drive all over town to interact.

  7. pjharjo says:

That sounds so nice to have your mom in walking distance, Jeff! This new place I’ve found for MY mom is about a 5-10 minute drive from here. 🙂 They have pet therapy and I can even go have meals with her! 🙂
