I’ve been biding my time and biting my tongue during this month to tell you all about my NEWS!
In early September, just after the issue of my first release, FATED (The 1st in my Trilogy, CONNECTIONS), I received a PRESS RELEASE from my publisher, Books To Go Now! The Press Release said, “Debut Romance Author Janette Harjo Tops Amazon Charts!
Books To Go Now’s proud to announce author Janette Harjo’s new release, Fated, is currently #10 on Amazon’s bestsellers list!”
I am SURE glad my publisher keeps watch on things like that!

THEN, I got my first box of books from them! YAY!
And now, for a different topic which is just as Exciting for Me! I went to visit my momma last week, who is in a nursing home far away in Louisiana. (I live in Washington State) And it was decided that I am going to be given her POA and she will be transported up here to live near ME!
I’ve just been bouncing around and forgetting everything else (except business, like this blog’s deadline) bc am so Excited about all that is going on in my life right now!

My mom lives in her own cottage, about 400 ft away. If the weather’s okay, I can walk it in 5 mins. Nice not to have to drive all over town to interact.

That sounds so nice to have your mom in walking distance, Jeff! This new place I’ve found for MY mom is about a 5-10 minute drive from here. 🙂 They have pet therapy and I can even go have meals with her! 🙂
