Comedy with Romance and Scares

By Jeff Salter

Ever imagined yourself waking up in total darkness, in a strange environment, surrounded by wooden bars… and you believe you’re totally alone? That is, until you hear strange movement off in the black distance.

That’s the beginning of my story, when Kristen slowly awakens after too much spiked punch at the community Halloween Party. Not only abandoned inside the spooky ex-armory building, but locked inside the fund-raiser “jail” and forgotten. If that weren’t enough problems, she’s also wearing her very uncomfortable witch costume.

Imagine your own mounting fear — darkness, confined, alone… and someone or something approaches. Will he (or it) help you out of the wooden jail? Or simply take advantage of your vulnerable position? Wouldn’t it be a comfort to be able to SEE whoever/whatever is attempting to let you out of the cage?

I hope you’ll sign up for your FREE pdf copy and check in throughout the month as I post short excerpts and other information about the story, characters, or developments. At the end of October, I think we’ll have a Q&A so you can interact with either author about either title.
