By Jeff Salter
Very pleased to announce that my newly released screwball romantic comedy – “Curing the Uncommon Man-Cold,” from Dingbat Publishing – is FREE for a limited time (for your Kindle). Consider this an after-Christmas gift — especially for those of you who received brand new Kindle devices on Dec. 25th.
Depending on the response, it’s possible this free download could even last beyond Friday, Dec. 27th.
The story
Ever had to cope with your male significant other… when he’s sick? He thinks he’s dying, won’t get out of your hair, and expects all that extra TLC?
That was Amanda Moore’s problem.
Even if you’ve never had to tend to a man with this dreaded disease, I’ll bet some of your female friends or relatives have. In fact, an estimated 15 million American women have to cope with the Uncommon Man-Cold at least once or twice a year!
“Your book is sooooo funny! I cried so hard I couldn’t see the words on the kindle!”
Felicia Rogers
Author of nearly a dozen titles, including “There Your Heart Will Be Also.”
A stubborn boyfriend with the sniffles is the last thing Amanda needs in her apartment during THIS work crisis, but how can she get clueless Jason to leave without just ending their relationship?
Fortunately, her divorced girlfriend hurriedly develops the devious scare-cure. Amanda throws everything at Jason that Christine can dream up and that apartment becomes the least hospitable place a man could possibly imagine. Extensive potpourri and a glued-down toilet seat is just the beginning.
But how serious are the privacy risks as Christine blogs about her scare-cure? Can this crazy scheme really get Jason out of Amanda’s hair at home before she loses her mind at work?
Will Amanda’s relationship even survive the kooky cure of Jason’s man-cold?

actually, when I’m sick, I think I’m a pretty good patient. Mainly I want to be left alone.
I may need somebody to pick up Rx for me or something, but other than that, I’m pretty low maintenance.
