Wanna build a snowman?

I’m sorry, but I give that one a miss and instead talk about snow.

You probably think it’s bizarre to write about snow, but, yes, at this end of the world, it’s sort of a novelty. We have snow about every year, but for about ten minutes. And it’s not really worth getting all hyped up about.

But last week…

It was divine. It snowed for about half an hour. It’s been the coldest weather since I’ve lived here. We woke one morning to -4.6 deg Celsius. FREEZING! Friday, the temperature was perfect for snow.

And it snowed. And snowed. And snowed.

It was amazing to see the “kids” of all ages come out to ‘touch’ and ‘experience’ the snow. People coming out of their houses with cameras to “catch” this event for all the social medias.

What might seem “normal” or “not even close” to what you experience in the northern hemisphere, was a day, people are still talking about!
