Better Late than Never?

Thank You, Parents     My son and his wife invited me to visit at their home in TX after my boyfriend dropped the Breakup Bomb.  So I forgot my list of subjects at home and that today was Tuesday!  It’s still Tuesday for about 7 more hours, so I figure I can still make my Tuesday post.  🙂

Today’s subject; if I had to write a thank you letter to my parents, what would it be about?  I wasn’t very thankful at the time, but I guess it would be thanks for all the gifts they gave me.  The character gifts of Honesty; Commitment; Trustworthiness; Endurance; and the material gifts of Horses, New Clothes, a Mustang for my first car, among other things.

How about you?  What are you thankful for today that you weren’t so thankful for during your youth?

  1. I don’t know if I’m thankful, but I can realize and respect that what I went through as a child made me a wonderful adult!

Enjoy Texas! Depending on where you are, the panhandle is getting rain, North is really humid and if you are south or in the hill country, well, it’s September, so it’s still hot and muggy! 😉

hey, Tonette! Thanks for the comment. 🙂 My visit’s already cleansed me in the respect I went to the ER and got meds for my bladder. I’m hoping to be cleansed in my emotional areas when I get back home, too. Yesterday while I was out with the dil she noticed a sheriff checking me out. YAY! I’ve still got it!

I didn’t know what I was going to write for this week’s topic, either. But it came to me as I thought about it!

Yes I did, Jeff. It was a ’67. My favorite model! I’m told I was spoiled. But I never thought so, until my momma said, “Yes you were!” recently when the subject came up and I denied it. Sorry for the late reply. 🙂
