Well, a Pair of Screwball Comedies
By Jeff Salter
It’s a free week at 4F1H, so I sometimes use this opportunity to remind you of what you’re missing if you haven’t been reading my novels or novellas. This time, I’m featuring the digital boxed set of two screwball romantic comedies in my series, “Amanda Moore or Less”. Singly and as the boxed set, these were released by Dingbat Publishing.

These novels were fun to write. I was inspired by the screwball movie comedies of the 1930s and 1940s, where the viewer KNOWS the situation is wacko, but we’re eager to go along for the ride anyway. In these novels, the reader will KNOW my characters are going to bizarre lengths to accomplish something (or find out something) when any logical, rational soul would simply take a few specific steps or ask a few direct questions.
Ah, but in the world of screwball, the direct method is never even considered… not until all the crazy zaniness has been tried out!
And that’s the world I tried to create for Amanda and Jason — and their interfering friends.

Of course, if you prefer to order them singly, they are each $2.99 in digital formats (also available in paperback at higher rates):
