Gosh. This is gonna be hard. I don’t have a favorite because I either love a book and its characters, or I don’t. (they’re either all my favorites, or they’re not.)
That said; I’ll have to go with some sexy actors who portray the heroes on the screen. I’ll begin with Sean Connery as James Bond who was the first to capture my heart when I was just a little thing. 😉
Most recently it’s Captain Jack (Johnny Depp) who has captured my heart. I’d love to be taken captive by him. I also loved him in “Alice in Wonderland.” I would have stayed there with him in an instant!

I agree Bond was a great hero figure, in both novels and movies.
All the guys wanted to be like him.
And most of the girls wanted to be WITH him.

Maybe we should revisit movies! We did a month of James Bond, but I have to say that the Bonds in the movies are more attractive than the Bonds of the books.I was disturbed by the ethnic slurs and prejudices that were so common-place in the books. Also, JB in the books wasn’t all hat much of a ‘ladies’ man’.
