If I could only be remembered as an author for one of my books which one would I want to be remembered for? It would be wonderful if an author could be remembered for all of their works but it doesn’t really seem to work that way, does it? Many people think of Pride and Prejudice when Jane Austen is mentioned. J.R.R. Tolkien is associated with The Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings series. C.S. Lewis is remembered for The Chronicles of Narnia series. Often times it seems that authors are remembered for their most famous work. That’s the one that everyone talks about. So many times these authors have incredible works that the general population don’t seem to know or care about. So if I could only be remembered for one book which book would I want that to be?
At the moment I have only three novels that have been completed and published. If I were to choose one those I think I would have to go with Love Overcomes. That was my first novel and it was a labor of love and tears. I didn’t intend for that book to be therapeutic for me but it was. There was lot of myself poured into that book. I was still healing from a horribly abusive marriage. At the time I was still having nightmares and looking over my shoulder often. When I wrote this book I would often find myself crying at two in the morning while writing. In Love Overcomes Arabella needs to gain her own confidence back. She needs to find that she can trust more than just her immediate family and herself. She deals with a lot of ups and downs, including panic attacks but in the end things get better for her.
While I wrote this book for myself. I hope that someday it could maybe help others to realize that they’re never truly alone. There are people out there who care. Maybe this book can help someone who is dealing with an abusive situation or who is trying to heal from it. If I could be remembered for one book, at this moment in time I would want it to be Love Overcomes.
Wow, Angie, I have not gotten to this one. I am glad that you got out of a bad situation and may lead others to have the courage…and know that there is healing. HUGS.

It sounds like this product of your own pain can be good therapy for readers who’ve also endured flawed relationships. Hopefully your book will reach even more readers as people spread the word.
