Talking about this week’s subject, or Around this week’s subject

Titor-Time-Machine-SchematicIs there a favorite TV actor/actress you really wish you could meet? What you want to experience with them … or what would y’all talk about?

I know I’ve said I could write about any topic here, but this time my mind’s drawing a blank. So, my answer to this week’s question is a resounding NO. 🙂 I don’t watch a lot of TV. When I think about it; TV characters are who come to mind, not the actors or actresses themselves. And those characters that come to mind are from back in the day, not anyone contemporary.

I know we’ve already covered this, but a character I would really like to meet is Dr. Samuel Beckett, (Scott Bakula) from one of my fav TV shows “in the day,” Quantum Leap.

If his character were real, I’d talk to him about; you guessed it, Time Travel! Time Travel has been present in about every story I’ve written. In lieu of Dr. Beckett, this brings to mind a Physics Professor who spoke at a Writer’s Conference I once attended. He talked to us about the theory of Time Travel. It was really interesting to the writer in me!! I’ve drawn (written) off his words many times. 🙂

If it is EVER possible in my lifetime; I wanna Time Travel!! Before I get off onto a tangent about what my research has told me about the theory of Time Travel; I’m going to end here and ask my question:

How about you? Would you like to Time Travel, as I do?

  1. We’re of a similar thought,Janette; the actors are just not sticking out to me.
Time travel! Oh, that would truly be dangerous in my hands. Knowing me,I’d ‘fix’ things so as to undo my own existence!

I think it would be fascinating to travel along a time spectrum. Not certain which periods I’d want to visit, but I think I’d start by going back far enough to meet each of my grandfathers (both of whom died before I was born).

I’m leery of time travel, due to the whole paradox thing. Hopefully, it’s a choice I’ll never have to make. 🙂

I really have to google the quantum leap one day 🙂 As for time travel …. don’t I kinda do it by talking to a clarevoyant ? LOL … as for “physically” travelling. Naaa … not for me.

I’d still love to Travel, Laurie. Woe be to today’s world… LOL!

Yes, Iris, you do need to Google QL, just as I need to Google all the celebrities you’ve mentioned! With the vast amount of Time Travel knowledge I have amassed I would venture to say one wouldn’t “physically” travel. It appears to me. the Travel would be done more spiritually/mentally, and not with one’s physical body as we know it.
