This week I was reminded of a couple of things.
Columbus Day–reminded me of taking chances.
“How?” you might ask…Well, just think of all the risk involved in being a discoverer, adventurer, and all those other –ers. I’m not one to take risks, really, for the most part, though some might argue that when it comes to screaming down hills at 30+ mph on my road bike…but not financial risks and security risks….Thankfully people like Columbus, Rosa Parks, Thomas Edison, Steve Jobs, etc do. They made unimaginable impacts on society.
Second thing I remembered…Live Life.
My sweet mother in law is in the hospital fighting for her life right now. Darn cancer is taking over. But you know what? As much as I don’t want her to leave this earth at the young age of 63, she’s ready. She’s said as much. She’s lived life. Impacted people for God. Loved with her whole heart. Tried to help everyone she could as a counselor, friend, mother, and wife. I’m forever impacted by her as are the people who’ve met up with her.
So this week hasn’t been the best of weeks, but it’s when things are tough that we learn and grow the most in my opinion.
Go out and LIVE LIFE, everyone.
Have a super day, my friends.
Your Friday Fox,
Lynn Rush
