Books Galore – And your chance to promote!

Promote your book

One of the topics over the last few weeks amongst author friends was “book promotion”. The how and the where, and of course the most effective one. It’s a struggle all authors, or for that matter, all businesses have to deal with.

4F1H has a free week this week, a perfect opportunity to help out my friends out there.

I thought to open up this blog post today and invite everyone to add a purchase link to

a-    the book you’re currently reading  – or
b-    the book you have just read    – or
c-    your favourite book   – AND
d-    your own book.208a0-morebeginnings

Please don’t go overboard with the invitation and keep the links to a maximum of four!

As for me:

I’m currently reading: Lily Malone “Fairway to Heaven”  and our own Jeff’s “Curing the Uncommon Man-Cold”.

My favourite book is: Cecelia Ahern “If you could see me now”

The book I’m about to read is … well … post away, so I can choose!

About Iris B

Iris Blobel writes warm, sexy, and sometimes witty Australian Contemporary Romance books for readers who, like herself, still strongly believe in love and Happily Ever Afters. And she knows HEAs. Her couples are hungry for life, done with the past, passionate about family, and emotionally hopeful for a future. The stories are mainly set in Australia but also in New Zealand and even the US, depending on where her travels take her. She loves nothing more than for her readers to join her on her journeys.

I’m in the market for a new favorite book. The last time I re-read my old favorite, it didn’t hold the same appeal for me that it had held for the ten years prior. Sigh. I think I’m growing up.

The book I’m reading now is one I’d strongly recommend to all Romance writers. It’s “The Art of Romance Writing” by Valerie Parv. It’s both practical and inspiring. http://www.valerieparv.com/artof.html

My all-time favourite romance is a classic by Georgette Heyer, “A Civil Contract”. http://books.google.com.au/books/about/A_Civil_Contract.html?id=2-t4O1JqAvwC&redir_esc=y

And here’s my own book, “Irresistible Enemy” – set in the bushy outskirts of Melbourne. It’s due for release on March 15th.

I’m late (as seems to be usual, lately) but I see I am not too late to, um, so some more promotion. I’ve currently bee doing lots of reviews and have just finished enjoying 3 short stories by K.C Maguire. Along that same vein, I have a whole list of Favorite books. The first one that pops into my mind is THE HOST, by Stephenie Meyer. I don’t know which book I’ll be reviewing next, but I have a few to go…

Oh, and of course I’m doing more promotion on my own Trilogy – CONNECTIONS, a story of lost souls cursed to search throughout lifetimes for their soul mate and their intended family. The first 2 of this saga are out and available on Amazon. The thrilling conclusion is soon to be released from BooksToGoNow.com

    Thanks, Iris! 🙂
