Hmm… This week it’s supposed to be my “Favorite Bond Movie Lines.” Now’s a good time for me to hit the internet to look up those “lines.” LOL! The only one that pop’s into my mind is, “Bond. James Bond.” But that’s too cliché, so I need to choose a favorite from his other lines.
Throughout all my searching of his many one-liners, I found a few good ones, and even interesting ones, but none I could call a favorite. Sorry, folks, but I guess I have never been the Bond fan that some of you others here have.
The quote I finally decided on is from For Your Eyes Only. In it, Bond says, “Forgive me, Father, for I have sinned.” To which Q replies, “That’s putting it mildly, 007!” I guess I decided to choose that quote for my Tuesday Fox subject bc it speaks to me and my Christianity. IMO, Bond is right; he has sinned. I mean, he has killed. And he has done so in more ways than one, hasn’t he?

Oh, certainly, Bond’s a bad boy, in every way.Killing,of course, top of the list.We have lying, stealing, destruction of property and geeze Louise, the man has broken a million commandments with willing females, married and unmarried and some not-as-willing as they should have been.The man pressured, blackmailed and swindled women into bed,(esp.Sean Connery’s and Roger Moore’s Bonds.

Uh-oh! Now we really know Iris! Actually,I never found the bad boys to be my cup of tea .I LOVE the Bond movies but never cast myself as a Bond girl…rather like watching football,(American, soccer or rugby)…like to watch, don’t want to play!
But , like I said before, that ineffectual Bond they made poor Daniel Craig portray in the first two of his?Gimme a break! Yep, Iris, a cutting-edge Bond is what we crave!

That’s one of the Bond films that I think I’ve only seen once, perhaps, and I don’t even recall that line.
It’s going to be very difficult for me to come up with my favorite line in a Bond movie for Thursday.

If you see the Connery Bonds he really pressured a couple beyond acceptability. And Moore cheated Jane Seymour’s character out of not only her virginity,(by stacking the tarot deck), but stripped her of her gift.Not cricket. I think some men are above that… and Bond always had other available women.
